Telenor Sweden joins CO2 emissions offset scheme

Telenor Sweden claims to be the first telecommunications operator in the world to offset its carbon emissions using the Fairtrade Climate Standard of credits. It added that it is the first Swedish company to start reducing its CO2 emissions under the standard. In 2017, Telenor produced approximately 1,600 tonnes of carbon dioxide, mostly through operating its network but also from corporate travel.
