Telenor Sweden says most pupils back school ban on phones

Forty percent of Swedish pupils aged 10 to 15 years attend a school with a blanket ban on mobile phones, and 57 percent of those support the ban. So said Telenor Sweden following a survey of 1,193 children by Novus. Only 6 percent of respondents are allowed to have their phones with them at all times while at school. Meanwhile, 53 percent are allowed to use them, but not during lessons.
