Telensa deploys smart streetlight controls in Edinburgh

Telensa, a specialist in connected street lighting and Smart City applications based in the UK, said that its smart streetlight controls are being deployed in 64,000 LED lights as part of the City of Edinburgh's energy efficiency programme. Telensa was chosen for the job by CGI Group, in an LED replacement contract run by Amey. Deployment has started and is expected to complete by the end of 2020.
