Teles wins VoIP patent, announces infringement cases

The US Patent authority granted to Germany-based telecommunications operator Teles a paten for secure VoIP technology, for which the company already has the German and European IntraStar patents. Based on these German and European patents, Teles already filed patent violation suites against the respective products by AVM, Quintum and Cisco in Germany and will expand at least two legal cases to the whole European market as well as to all other VoIP technology using companies. Most of them are based in the USA and may now be legally attacked also on their home market, because of violating
