Teleste integrates Elemental tech in head-end

Finnish video and broadband technology provider Teleste said that it will introduce a unified product at IBC 2016 in Amsterdam that allows operators to achieve up to 20 percent higher bandwidth capacity for delivering high-resolution TV channels over cable, terrestrial aerials and satellite. It is based on its Luminato headend and its Optimo transcoding services, and on technology from Elemental Technologies, which supplies software-defined video services.
