Televisa Group gains authorisation to acquire TVI shares

Mexico's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) has given conditional authorisation to Televisa Group (GIETV) to acquire all the shares in Television Internacional (TVI). The merger involves Televisa Group and Multimedios Group, and both provide pay-TV, fixed internet and fixed telephony and broadcasting services. TVI's current shareholders, directly and indirectly, are GIETV and Multimedios Group.
