Televisa rejects Telcel's collusion accusations

Mexican media group Televisa has rejected charges by America Movil's subsidiary Telcel, that it and other broadcast and cable companies manipulate the television and advertising markets. Telcel made these charges in a complaint filed with Mexico's antitrust regulator, the Federal Competition Commission (CFC), Dow Jones reports, citing Luis Mancera, Televisa's VP of telecom legal and regulatory affairs. According to Mancera, the complaint "has absolutely no merits". Mancera said the real issue is the Federal Telecommunications Commission's ruling last week that Telcel should lower the rate to
