Telia Denmark foresees health app and wearables boom in 2017

Telia Denmark said January is approaching, bringing with it New Year's Resolutions and encouraging the use of smartphone applications to improve personal health. Telia private customer director Christoph Norgaard said the use of health apps and wearables is still at an early stage but they are expected to boom in 2017. In 2016, the most popular health app/wearable was for dieting and calorie counting, second was pulse meters, third were sleep monitors, fourth were relaxation or meditation apps, and fifth were blood pressure meters.
