Telia Estonia tests smart sports product to measure track athletes' performance

Tuesday 7 August 2018 | 12:29 CET | News
Operator Telia Estonia has tested an innovative smart sports product to track athletes' progress and health. It was tested at last weekend's Ironman triathlon in Tallin. Telia Estonia and sports accessory company Polar developed the product, which transmits athletes' data via a mobile network to a specific website or smart device. This adds excitement and entertainment value to the competition, as spectators can track athletes live view their speed, performance and even heart rate.
