Telia Norway and university in Trondheim test autonomous canal ferry on 5G network

Telia Company said it has teamed up with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim test use of 5G for self-driving ferries on the Trondheim canal. This is the first part of a wider collaboration between the two parties. NTNU is responsible for the development of control systems, the boat itself, and all other equipment.
