Telia risks SEK 10 million fine over delays to NAT data retention

Swedish communications regulator PTS said Telia Company has failed to comply with rules on the storage of Network Address Translation (NAT) information and must take remedial action by 01 April 2021 or pay a SEK 10 million fine. Telia has told PTS that implementation of the rules has hit delays. Anna Soyland, lawyer at PTS, said Telia is almost one year late in applying the rules, which the operator has known about at least since the start of 2019.
