Telia says Danish smartphone owners sloppy about security

Telia Denmark said 68 percent of people in a survey are not worried about the possibility of their mobile phone being hacked, and that caution has in fact deteriorated since a 2011 questionnaire. A survey carried out with YouGov among 1,008 people found that 27 percent of smartphone owners use neither a security code nor a locking function. Only 42 percent of Danish smartphone holders use either a remote wipe facility or Find my iPhone. It found 19 percent use an anti-virus system and 6 percent use a firewall. Telia said 38 percent of respondents had no qualms about using an open wireless
