Telia Sweden gains 46,000 mobile users in Q1 but service revenue drops, adds 120,000 M2M subscribers

Friday 23 April 2021 | 12:07 CET | News
Telia Company said it gained 46,000 Swedish subscribers in the first quarter of 2021 as it added 120,000 postpaid M2M customers, but mobile service revenue was lower year on year. Net sales in Sweden reached SEK 8.40 billion, up by 0.9 percent on a like-for-like basis from a restated SEK 8.32 billion a year earlier, thanks to higher equipment sales. Service revenues fell by 2.7 percent to SEK 7.23 billion from SEK 7.43 billion a year earlier because of lower mobile revenues, particularly from roaming, and with pressure on legacy fixed turnover.
