Telkom awards IPTV network construction contract to ZTE

ZTE has signed a four-year IPTV network construction contract with Telkom Indonesia. According to the contract, ZTE will construct, operate, and maintain a low-bit-rate IPTV network for Telkom starting this year to 2016. ZTE will provide Telkom with IPTV system equipment including HD, SD and low bit rate devices, as well as STB. On the systems side, ZTE will operate, maintain, and host equipment, and provide end-to-end network optimisation.
