Telkom H1 EBITDA rises 5% to ZAR 5 bln

Telkom Group reported a 5 percent increase in its EBITDA to ZAR 5 billion for the first six months ending 30 September with an EBITDA margin of 26 percent. Operating revenue increased by 21 percent to ZAR 20 billion, net operating revenue rose by 3 percent to ZAR 14 billion while headline earnings per share (HEPS) increased 20 percent to ZAR 3.36. The operator said its capex increased 56 percent to ZAR 3.6 billion with a capex to revenue ratio of 18 percent.
