Telkom H1 revenue up 5.2% to ZAR 20.8 bln, mobile subscribers up 50%

Telkom said that group operating revenue for the first six month to 30 September climbed by 5.2 percent to ZAR 20.8 billion from ZAR 19.82 billion in the same period of 2017.  EBITDA was up 2.9 percent to ZAR 5.3 billion from ZAR 5.17 billion in 2017 with an EBITDA margin of 25.5 percent. Capex was ZAR 3.3 billion, down 17.6 percent from ZAR 3.97 billion in 2017, with a capex to revenue ratio of 15.7 percent. Free cash flow grew 118.6 percent to ZAR 179 million from ZAR 963 million.
