Telkom H1 revenues, EBITDA up on mobile expansion, cash flow negative after jump in capex

Tuesday 12 November 2019 | 12:10 CET | News
South African operator Telkom reported revenues for its fiscal first half to September up 4.7 percent to ZAR 21.5 billion, and EBITDA grew 12.4 percent to ZAR 5.6 billion. Growth was supported by the continued expansion of its mobile business, which grew service revenue 56.6 percent to ZAR 602 million. This offset an 8.5 percent fall in revenue from its fixed network business Openserve and 3.3 percent lower revenues at its IT services arm BCX.
