Telkom Kenya executives face private prosecution over KES 14 bln land sale

Postel Housing Co-operative Society has been allowed to bring a private prosecution against senior officials of Telkom Kenya including CEO Mugo Kibati over the sale of KES 14 billion land in Nairobi, Business Daily reported. Senior principal magistrate Kennedy Cheruiyot let the former employees bring charges against Telkom directors, some of whom have already left the company, after accusing the Director of Public Prosecutions of failing to take up the matter despite being notified of alleged fraud.
