Telkom Kenya raises prices as excise duty goes up

Telkom Kenya says its headline price for Pay-As-You-Go on-net voice calls will increase to KES 2.78 following amendments to the Finance Act 2021, which raise Excise Duty from 15 percent to 20 percent effective July. Telkom said the Pay-As-You-Go price for off-net voice calls will increase to KES 4.30.
