Telkom says network hit by DDoS attack

Telkom South Africa says its network was hit by a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack on 12 January, which affected some Telkom Internet customers. Telkom spokesperson Jacqui O'Sullivan said Telkom immediately took the necessary steps to alleviate the impact to customers, reports MyBroadband.
