Telkom to exit CDMA business

Indonesian communications carrier Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) plans to exit the CDMA business. The company will stop promoting the Flexi-branded services and migrate customers to mobile unit Telkomsel, the Jakarta Post writes citing Telkom's innovation and strategic portfolio director Indra Utoyo. At the end of last year, Telkom had 6.77 million Flexi customers, down by 62.1 percent year-on-year, and Flexi's ARPU was down 3.6 percent to IDR 8,000.
