Telkomsel deploys Ericsson's NFV infrastructure, prepares for 5G

Indonesian operator Telkomsel has selected Ericsson's NFV infrastructure to upgrade its core network upgrade as it moves to 5G deployment. The deployment of Ericsson's NFVI, together with Ericsson Cloud Packet Core, is designed to make Telkomsel's network 5G-ready. Ericsson's NFVI service is also expected to enable Telkomsel to prepare for IoT use cases for enterprises.
