Telrad, Federated Wireless develop CBRS system

Telrad Networks, a global provider of TD-LTE broadband equipment, announced a partnership with Federated Wireless to undertake a trial of equipment in compliance with the FCC Citizen's Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) 3550-3700 MHz band rules. The newly formed CBRS band was created by the FCC in April 2015 to facilitate sharing spectrum for mobile services in a band traditionally used by the military. In order to operate in the band, companies must use a spectrum access system (SAS) for the allocation and management of spectrum, with the goal of maximizing efficiency in the band. Federated
