Telstar claims Angolan State wanted 45% stake after it won 4th operating licence

Angolan company Telstar has issued a statement concerning the withdrawal of its licence to operate the country's fourth mobile communications company, reports Mercado. It claims that that the public tender procedure had stipulated that if it won the licence, then 45 percent of Telstar's share capital would have to be held by an entity nominated by the Angolan State.
