Telstra customers most likely to have old mobile phones

Some 27.3 percent of all Australian mobile phone users have mobiles that are older than two years. Of all the providers, Telstra has the highest proportion of customers with old handsets at 30.3 percent, or about 2.2 million people. Telstra is also the provider with the lowest proportion (20.7%) of customers intending to upgrade their mobile phones in the next twelve months. Conversely, Vodafone has the highest proportion (30.9%) of customers planning to upgrade — and the lowest proportion of those with phones older than two years (21.9%).
