Telstra fixed broadband data usage jumps 40% in one year

Telstra has announced that its fixed broadband data usage increased around 40 percent between July 2017 and July 2018. Additionally, as more ADSL customers move on to faster speeds on the NBN, Telstra reports it has seen a data use uplift of nearly 50 percent. The report also shows that, of all the states in Australia, NSW lead data traffic in July 2018 with 71.6 petabytes. In fact, NSW households contribute 30 percent of the total amount of data consumed on Telstra's fixed network.
