Telstra loses legal case against ACCC

Australian telecommunications provider Telstra has lost its legal case against the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and several ISPs over the regulator's authority. Telstra sought review of the ACCC's jurisdiction to arbitrate three disputes that were lodged by Vocus Fibre, Adam Internet, and Chime Communications. The three access seekers objected to Telstra's changed charges for access to facilities. Telstra took the regulator and three companies to court arguing the ACCC did not have jurisdiction over signed commercial contracts. The Federal Court rejected Telstra's
