Tencent aims to buy online gaming portal 17173.com - report

Chinese internet and mobile services company Tencent aims to pay USD 1 billion to buy online gaming information portal 17173.com, Marbridge Daily reports, citing industry sources. Upon completion of the transaction, Tencent will reportedly merge its gaming channel resources with 17173.com. Over 57 percent of Tencent's operating revenue currently comes from online gaming, according to the report.
