Terracom aquires RwandaTel

The General Assembly Meeting of Rwandan fixed line operator RwandaTel has signed the transfer of 99 percent of RwandaTel's shares to Terracom. The Rwandan Government and Terracom are convinced that the privatisation of RwandaTel is the best way for developing a telecommunication infrastructure that will meet the Vision 2020 set by the Rwandan Government and the future challenges in communications. Financial details were not disclosed.
