TF1, BeIN Sports buy World Cup TV rights

French TV channel TF1 has acquired the rights to the "28 best matches" for the next two FIFA World Cup competitions in Russia (2018) and Qatar (2022), while Al-Jazeera pay TV subsidiary BeIN Sports bought rights to all matches. TF1 has also bought full rights to the Confederations Cup in Russia in 2017 and the Women's World Cup in France in 2019.
