TfL in talks to provide mobile coverage on Tube - report

Transport for London (TfL) officials are understood to be in talks with several providers about deploying infrastructure to bring mobile coverage to the Tube network, reports The Telegraph newspaper. The talks are at an early stage and involve Commscope's smart cell technology division Airvana. The plans to provide mobile coverage on the London Underground are part of a nationwide upgrade of emergency services communications.
