Thailand may auction 1800, 900 MHz spectrum in 2015

Tuesday 18 November 2014 | 09:41 CET | News
Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) plans to revise auction details for the 1800 and 900 megahertz spectrum in January 2015, and set a new schedule for the auction in July, The Bangkok Post reports, citing NBTC vice-chairman Col Settapong Malisuwan. Back in June, Thailand's National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), the junta which rules the country since the recent military coup, suspended two spectrum auctions to provide 4G services for one year.
