Third of 16-34 year-olds leave Facebook after parents join

Around 32 percent of British 16 to 34 year-olds have deleted their own Facebook account because their parents had started to use the same site, writes the Telegraph, citing the Digital Home Index survey of 2,000 people from the Halifax bank.  Another 33 percent said they had blocked or deleted a family member. Facebook, which was launched publicly in 2006, is not the only established social media site to have started to lose young users in favour of newer competitors.
