Third of Chileans don't know how much data they consume

Around 32 percent of Chilean prepay and postpay subscribers have no idea how much data they consume every month, reports Diario Financiero, citing a report conducted by mobile operator WOM. Slightly more than a third (36%) of postpay users use up between 2GB and 5GB a month, added the report, with young people aged 18 to 24 by far the heaviest users. In fact, 26 percent of the 18-24 age group spend between CLP 20,000 and 30,000 a month (USD 30 to 45) on data and 18 percent spend even more than CLP 30,000.
