Thomson Computing selects Avenir Telecom as supplier and distributor in laptop segment

Thomson Computing, the company in charge of the Thomson brand in the portable computer market, has signed a strategic partnership with Avenir Telecom covering the supply of components and a distribution agreement that opens new markets to Thomson-branded laptops. As part of the deal, Avenir Telecom will provide its expertise in sourcing and logistics, built on its links to assembly plants in Asia. On the commercial front, Thomson Computing will also benefit from Avenir Telecom's distribution network, which counts partners across more than 55 markets worldwide.
