Three firms integrate VoLTE for small cell base stations

Communications software developer Aricent Group, wireless equipment vendor Contela and semiconductor networking products developer Mindspeed Technologies have integrated VoLTE into small cell base stations. The system features the Mindspeed Transcede 3000 SoC in a Contela LTE small cell product, with fully-integrated software from both Mindspeed and Aricent.
