Thunes raises USD 10 mln in latest funding round

Thunes, a global cross-border payments network for emerging economies, said it raised USD 10 million from a Series A financing round led by GGV Capital. The network, which rebranded from TransferTo in February, said it will use the money to further develop and expand its services worldwide, across Africa, Asia and Latin America. Thunes plans to open up new offices in San Francisco, Dubai and Paris.
