Thuraya launches Hughes' vehicular broadband terminal

Thuraya has launched its first dedicated vehicular IP broadband terminal, called Thuraya IP Voyager, which has been designed and manufactured by Hughes. It is aimed at end-users in the government, oil and gas, media and relief sectors. It is the only terminal available in the market capable of achieving streaming IP rates of up to 384 kbps as well as user-definable asymmetric streaming, it said.
