Thuraya supports UN global Covid-19 response plan

Thuraya has welcomed the Covid-19 Global Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) announced by the United Nations Secretary-General on 25 March. The company will use its expertise and apply lessons learned from the 2014-2016 Ebola outbreak to help implement the HRP,  a co-ordinated USD 2 billion scheme for 51 of the world's poorest countries in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and South America.
