Thuringia applies for EUR 84.9 mln in broadband funding

Regional authorities in Thuringia have submitted sixteen applications for funding to the Federal Broadband Programme to expand their network infrastructure. The requests amount to a total of EUR 84.9 million. If all requests were approved, the state would provide co-financing of EUR 45 million and the counties of EUR 14.5 million.
