TIF welcomes EU support for National Broadband Plan

EU Commissioner for Regional Policy Corina Cretu has praised Ireland's National Broadband Plan and National Digital Strategy. She believes that they show Ireland has the right plans in place to exploit the economic and social benefits once high speed broadband infrastructure is in place nationwide. This support was welcomed by the Telecoms and Internet Federation (TIF).
