Tigo, Airtel Ghana meet regulator over mergers

Ghana mobile operators Tigo and Airtel are set to present the details on their merger deals to the National Communications Authority (NCA) and subsequently seek their approval, Adom News reported, citing sources from both sides. Millicom and Bharti Airtel on 03 March announced the consolidation of their operations in Ghana but stated the merger is yet to get government and regulator approval before it can take effect.
