Tigo El Salvador ends Q4 with 38% of local mobile market

Mobile operator Tigo El Salvador ended December with a total of 2.85 million subscribers in the country, according to Millicom's latest financial report. The operator leads the mobile telephony market in El Salvador, with a market share of 38 percent. Other operators in the local mobile market include Movistar, Digicel, Claro and Red. Tigo El Salvador has 1,413 mobile sites across the country.
