Tigo Money to introduce transfers to Bolivian bank accounts

Bolivian mobile telephony operator Tigo will allow users of the Tigo Money service to transfer cash from their mobile wallet to a bank account and vice versa starting in January 2016, reports local daily La Razon. The company can launch the service after reaching a deal with the entity acting on behalf of Bolivia's 16 banks. Tigo Money currently has nearly six million users in Bolivia and is the country's most popular m-banking tool.
