Tigo RDC offers free access to Facebook, internet.org

Mobile operator Tigo DRC has introduced free Facebook access under an internet.org agreement between Facebook and Tigo parent company Millicom, reports Agence Ecofin. Tigo customers must buy a 50 unit top-up to be able to access the DRC's most widely used social network free of charge. The internet.org app gives access to websites such as BBC News, Goal.com and Wikipedia.
