Tigo Tanzania launches 4G+ network at up to 120 Mbps

Tigo Tanzania said it has launched a 4G+ network, capable of providing service at up to 120 Mbps, compared with up to 60 Mbps on its standard 4G grid. Capacity is shared so total speed depends on the number of subscribers using the network. Tigo's standard 4G covers 22 cities, and its 4G+ network has been deployed in five main ones, namely Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Morogoro, Moshi and Dodoma, expanding to others.
