Tigo Tanzania offers Tecno-kitochi smartphone to help bridge digital divide

Tigo Tanzania has introduced the Tecno-kitochi smartphone to foster internet penetration, the Daily News reported. Tigo device manager Mkumbo Myonga said Tecno-kitochi would help to bridge the digital divide in the country and add value to the business environment in the country. According to the Tanzania Communication Regulatory Authority (TCRA), internet penetration exceeded 25 million users in the quarter to June or 46 percent, compared with over 23 million in the previous year.
