TIM and Telefonica to share mobile infrastructure in Brazil

TIM Brasil and Telefonica Brasil haves signed a MoU on network sharing. They plan to combine their 2G networks in a single grid model, as well as share 4G network infrastructure in the 700 MHz band for cities with less than 30,000 inhabitants and possibly expand this to larger cities. They will also look at other network sharing opportunities in other frequencies and technologies.
