TIM Brasil and Oi extend national roaming agreement to more towns

TIM Brasil and Oi have announced the expansion of their national roaming agreement for voice, data and SMS, reports Teletime. They will extend their shared coverage to over 800 more municipalities and reach a joint base of 95 million users in the country. The two operators could use the network for a minimum development standard of 3G. The partnership aims to use the infrastructure more efficiently, allowing investment in "other telecommunications areas".
