TIM Brasil confirms Ericsson and Huawei as initial 5G suppliers

TIM Brasil has confirmed that Ericsson and Huawei are its initial 5G suppliers. Both companies participated in proofs of concept with TIM, respectively in the states of Santa Catarina and Minas Gerais. During a press conference, CTIO Leonardo Capdeville confirmed the intention to launch the service before the deadline set in the 5G auction notice, for July 2022, which is why the company is already working to adapt the network, reports Teletime.
